Takagi Award
Takagi Award was established in 1996 for the outstanding contributions among original articles published on The Journal of the Japan Society of Acupuncture and Moxibustion (JJSAM)and Japanese Acupuncture and Moxibustion(JAM). The award was named after Dr. Kentaro Takagi (1910-1990) who is the founder of JSAM and known as physiologist who made great contributions to development of physiological understanding of actions of Acupuncture and Moxibustion. The recipient of the Takagi Award receives the certificate and honorarium funded by donation from bereaved family of Dr. Kentaro Takagi. The recipient of the Takagi Encouragement Award receives the award plaque.
