The Journal of Kampo, Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine (KAIM), which was launched in 2006 with the mission of “disseminating Japanese Kampo and acupuncture and moxibustion to the world,” had published 13 volumes, 52 issues, and 2 special issues (one for Kampo medicine and the other for acupuncture & moxibustion) in the past 13 years. KAIM came to an end in the Winter 2018 issue.
However, we believe that the articles published in KAIM are still informative and useful to medical professionals, around the world, who are practicing or studying Kampo, Japanese style acupuncture and moxibustion. In addition, these articles are of great value to understand the state of traditional Japanese medicine at the beginning of the 21st Century.
Therefore, we have launched the new KAIM website which can be accessed from all over the world.
